We determined that the Rig Safety name was confusing potential clients as to the industries that we serve. Google had even taken it upon itself to list us as working in the oil and gas industry. So, in order to rectify this issue, we are doing a complete rebrand. We are still offering the same great services, nothing else is changing. We expect the rebrand to be 100% complete within the next couple weeks. Thanks for your patience and continued support!
U.S. Safety Midwest is now offering the 24 hour EM 385 Competent Person Fall Protection Course, as well as the entire series of fall protection through the 3M Corporation. Open classes will be in the Cincinnati area. We'll be posting class offering schedules soon.
We can also bring this class to you! Provided a minimum class size and logistical requirements can be met, Rig Safety will travel with this course throughout most of the eastern U.S.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) requires the EM 385 training on many military and federal construction jobsites.
Please contact us now for more information and to get on our list for upcoming classes.

Your safety is our mission. We are committed to giving 100% effort into leading every client and every jobsite toward an injury free work environment. Will this ever become reality? Probably not, construction is inherently dangerous, and accidents happen. Preventable accidents, on the other hand, are just that, they can be prevented, and they are our targets. We strive to provide everyone in the industry with the tools and knowledge they need to work as safely as possible.

Although our name has changed, our values haven't, and these pillars of an effective safety program remain
Resources: Personal protective equipment, fall protection equipment, and safe tools and ladders are just a few examples
Instruction: Education is paramount to assure that your workers have the knowledge base to work safely
Guidance: We all must watch each other's back. From upper management, to supervisors, to each other, and to us at RIG Safety, we can team up to keep us all safer. Regular jobsite inspections provide this needed guidance.

Jobsite audits are invaluable tools to promote a strong safety culture on your jobsite. Preventing just a single injury through inspections can make a huge difference to not only a worker's life, but to your bottom line as well. U.S. Safety Midwest offers many levels of jobsite inspection packages that will fit both your needs and your budget.

U.S. Safety Midwest offers many classes that will enable both your workers and your management to have the advantage in working toward an injury free safety culture. Go to the Services tab to see a list of some of the many courses that we can provide.

U.S. Safety Midwest can also assist you with writing company safety policy and site specific safety plans, and with job safety analyses and job hazard analyses. We are there for you to investigate accidents and represent you face to face with OSHA, whether as a result of an accident or a periodic compliance inspection.
John Fraser is the owner and heart of U.S. Safety Midwest. He has over 35 years experience in safety and construction. He's also a retired fire department captain and technical rescue technician, which gives him a unique skill set and perspective that is invaluable in identifying and abating jobsite hazards.
We at U.S. Safety are not the stereotypical "Safety guys" that the jobsite hates to see show up. We are advocates and allies to both labor and management, taking a friendly, educational approach to hazard identification and abatement. We don't just suggest corrective action, we work with you to understand why and to help you determine alternative methods and controls that will get the job done safely.
Experience, professionalism, cooperation, and attention to detail are paramount to promoting a true culture of safety throughout your organization, and we at U.S. Safety are dedicated to these values every day.
